These
are most of my friends from high school: from left to right:
Susan Thornton; Sandy Plattner; Brad Plattner; Alan Curl; Tom Zix.
My bosom buddy and brother-in-Christ Ken Hubbert should be in this
picture, but it's tough to get us both in Riverside together.
We didn't actually go to high school with Sandy, but she's Brad's wife,
we like her, and there's no way we were going to exclude her from the
picture.
We got together at the end of January at Mimi's Cafe out in Moreno
Valley. We should do it more often.
Except for Sandy, this is the group (along with Ken) that inspired the
North High Irregulars, the protagonists that weaved their way in and out
of some amateur fiction I wrote back in the day.... Don't ask.
